HOW TO JOIN
Ready?
If you're ready to join a dedicated group of men and women who serve our nation part time, protecting its waterways and coastlines, then the Coast Guard Reserve wants to hear from you.
You should be physically fit, and you'll have to meet a set of mental and character standards. And you must be between 17 and 30 years old - though some reserve and officer programs allow you to be older.
As a reservist, you may be expected to save lives, make drug busts, safeguard the environment, or protect our country from terrorists. In the Coast Guard, we do more than train and wait; we train and perform.
In return, you'll make extra cash, get great benefits, receive training, and have the opportunity for advancement.
But more importantly, you'll be part of perhaps the most accomplished military organization in the world.
If that's the kind of life you're looking for, and you're ready to make the commitment necessary to be one of us, click here to contact a recruiter for reserve positions that may be available in your area.
