USCG Recruiting Alerts Terms & Conditions

U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Recruiting Alerts (the “Service”) is a standard-rate SMS/text (Short Messaging Service) messaging program which is operated by USCG Recruiting. The Service provides promotional messaging and transactional type alerts that are associated with recruiting and hiring transactions. Use of the service constitutes agreement to these Terms and Conditions. USCG Recruiting may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time and continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to the Service, subscribers agree to receive recurring messages from the Service through their wireless provider to the mobile number they provide, even if it is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic system or other technology via short code 68238. Message frequency varies. Consent to participate in the Service is not required to receive service from USCG Recruiting.

There is no charge to participate in the Service, but subscribers are solely responsible for charges from a wireless provider related to SMS/text messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Participating carriers include AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and others.

Subscribers may opt out of the Service at any time by texting the single keyword command STOP to 68238 to STOP receiving any future USCG Recruiting alerts. Any subscriber who has opted out in this manner can wishes to opt back in can do so by texting the single keyword command SIGNUP to 68238. Message and data rates may apply.
