Coast Guard Officer Programs
We have numerous officer programs available, both active duty and reserve.

Maritime Academy Graduates have education and training that enhances the Coast Guard's ability to carry out its operational missions. Individuals selected will serve as a Coast Guard Reserve officer on full-time active-duty.
CSPI provides college sophomores and juniors with valuable leadership, management, law enforcement, navigation and marine science skills and training, while fully funding up to two years of college. Following college graduation, CSPI students receive a guaranteed position at officer candidate school training.
CSPI – SLRP is a college tuition repayment program designed for current college seniors attending a minority serving institution (MSI), recent MSI graduates, or MSI graduate students.
The Coast Guard Officer Candidate School (OCS) is a rigorous course of instruction that prepares candidates to serve effectively as officers in the Coast Guard. OCS also provides a wide range of highly technical information necessary for performing the duties of a Coast Guard officer.
Students who are already enrolled in the CSPI program are eligible to apply for a guaranteed flight training assignment. Those who are selected pursue rigorous training to become a Coast Guard pilot following graduation from college and officer candidate school.
